Election Time: A Shaman Meets the Shadow - Eating Hucha

A different kind of spirit and energy brought to the election dialogues can give you a powerful way to participate any day, any time.

The Shadow's energy on the planet is widespread, often generated by fear as balance is teetering making old ways of co-existing with differences no longer useful.

We can shift our own capacity to deal with the Shadow.

EATING HUCHA is a shamanic process of dealing with the energy of the shadow. This can come up on many levels - prejudiced response that misinterprets speech or action, waiting with impatient people in a grocery store line, being irritated at some ongoing actions or opinions of a friend or partner –

EATING HUCHA makes use of the ENERGY that's evoked by heaviness, sadness, and anger - Learn how to bring intention to your thoughts and actions as we're supported by the cycles of natural flow of energy in the Universe.

As the days grow longer, and light expands, hone your capacity to use the shadow within, moving into the light. Learn how to re-focus anger and frustration as we connect with the natural world and open to its powers of transformation.

For the next 3 months, be supported by time's movement toward the light of the year, and of the monthly turning of the tide. These events are scheduled around the high tide in this area.

JUNE 19 2:30 PM
High tide Wednesday, November 25, at 11:00 AM,

As the full moon brings high tide to Bayfront Park in Menlo Park, explore the practice and its place in our own life experiences. Then walk along the crest of the hills overlooking San Francisco Bay, as we "Eat Hucha". Taking in the shadow in multiple forms, through intention and the guidance of this spiritual practice, we'll offer this energy to Mother Earth and fill ourselves with Light.

Email Ginny Anderson for more explicit directions and to register. Share this invitation with others you know, and find a way to lighten the shadow's burden on your mind and heart.
